Use a dolly, take a picnic lunch and extra water. Make the hike upstream and Scout your access points because there are only a few. Its rough but not many people are ever "on the water".

North Canadian between McLoud and Dale OK.
Access is under hwy bridges, so not pristine. 4 hours on the water if the waters up--6-8 if its down. Don't be dumb enough to travel this anywhere near flood stage or questionable weather.
Not for people in poor health or that need a sitter.
